in 2024, activists in northern california sued their congressmembers to end use of their tax dollars to fund genocide

In the fall of 2024, after the court predictably tossed the case, activists across ten counties in Northern California united to form Taxpayers Against Genocide (TAG), an ongoing effort to hold their elected officials accountable for their complicity in genocide

Inspired by those activists in California, TAG New York seeks to expand TAG’s presence to the East Coast to accommodate for the rapidly growing interest in joining TAG’s unprecedented movement to hold our elected officials accountable

TAG New York joins Taxpayers Against Genocide in full solidarity to use every method at our disposal to end U.S. impunity for its ongoing war crimes, funded entirely by our tax dollars

TAG’s mission

Taxpayers Against Genocide is dedicated to building grassroots people power to end the use of U.S. federal tax dollars in funding genocide and human rights violations in Palestine. Through education, advocacy, and collective action, we empower individuals and communities to demand accountability, transparency, and justice from the U.S. government. Together, we strive to ensure that taxpayer dollars no longer enable violence and oppression, but instead contribute to a future rooted in liberation for Palestine.
